He was blessed – he became a blessing to others… 
proclaiming repentance… 
Proclaining the goodnews…
Baptizing the people

He was blessed – he became more faithful To God…
Spending long hours in prayer in the desert…
Always discerning Gods will.. 
Offered his life for God.

Like anyone else… we are blessed beyond our knowledge…

Like St. John, may we recognize God’s Blessings and let us share them to others (be a blessing to others)
Like St. John may we become more faithful to HIM and may HIS Blessings strengthen our LOVE for HIM.
